Modular system of biological WWT with MBR
The new line of MBWWT biological wastewater treatment plants is characterized by a light surface structure that allows a wide range of modifications in case of necessary quick application or application on conditions that are not suitable for "classical" solution of concrete or plastic reservoirs. The construction preparation for this system is only based on a hard surface of an area corresponding to relevant number of ISO containers and installation of the pumping shaft, possibly another type of connection to the sewer system.
The main technological advantage of the new line of biological wastewater treatment plants is just the concept of a biological stage connected directly with a sludge separator. Instead of classic separation by sedimentation, the efficiency of which highly depends on the quality of sludge, separation by means of ultra-filtration membranes is used.
The output quality of water is such that it can be directly used as service water ( bacteria and viruses are removed ) and after treatment using the RO unit up to 80% of water can be returned to drinking water circuit and 20% can be used for irrigation.
These biological waste water treatment plants are designed for treatment of waste water from small and medium-sized sources of pollution, within the range of 400 - 3200 equivalent residents (ER). Bigger capacities are solved by multiple installations, then. Particularly, they are suitable for treatment of waste water from:

conurbations
- restaurants, hotels and guest houses - with recycling and drinking water production
- industrial and food companies (slaughterhouse, etc.)
Biological waste water treatment plants are always technologically linked so that the preceding level separates the substances that could damage the following level. The basic scheme of the entire facility is therefore formed by several technological units:
- Pumping building with crushing pumps
- Mechanical pre-treatment
- Biological level with accessories
- Membrane reactor with the ultra-filtration separator with a CIP unit
- Control and outlet building with measurement
- Ancillary plants of sludge management - sludge dewatering, rakings treatment - if necessary

Possible other capacities can be solved by agreement in a pre-project stage of the supply because there is no problem at this modular system to assemble any arbitrary capacity without increase of average investment costs on connected ER within a given range of capacities.
